Caitlyn Jenner has dished her thoughts about her daughter Kylie Jenner’s long-term relationship with movie star Timothee Chalamet.
The 76-year-old reality TV star couldn’t be happier for Kylie, who has increased her appearances alongside her boyfriend of three years at high-profile award ceremonies — most recently the Golden Globes.
“I just want my daughter to be happy,” Jenner told reporters while at the Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday.
“And she is and I like that.”
Jenner also confirmed she had indeed met Chalamet, labelling the Marty Supreme star as a “great kid” and a “phenomenal actor”.
“And he’s very good to Kylie,” she added. “Even more important.”
Jenner isn’t the first to welcome the Dune actor into the famous family, with Kris Jenner including Chalamet on the Kardashian-Jenner family’s Christmas gingerbread house in December.
The annual tradition sees Kris display the names of all the most significant members of her growing family.
While Kylie and her other half preferred to stay out of the spotlight when rumours about their relationship made the headlines three years ago, they are now more than comfortable packing on the PDA in public.
Chalamet even sent a heartwarming message to the makeup mogul during his acceptance speech at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards.
“Thank you for our foundation,” he said from the stage.
“I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. Appreciate it.”
Kylie mouthed back to him, “I love you.”
He gave her another shout-out while receiving the Best Male Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical/Comedy award at this year’s Golden Globes, calling Kylie his “partner” and saying “I love you.”
They’ve come a long way from trying to keep their relationship under wrap as Kylie told British Vogue in August 2024 that “privacy is so important to me in life”.
Meanwhile Chalamet discussed Kylie’s level of fame and privacy in a recent interview with GQ.
“This reminds me of that recent South Park episode with the Worldwide Privacy Tour,” he said, referencing the show’s parody of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
“Sometimes, people are going to be hella confused when you say you’re trying to live a private life.”
