A man has been rushed to hospital after shots were fired into a residence in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to an address on Northcott Road at Lalor Park about 11.35pm on Saturday after reports of a public shooting.
Upon arrival, local police officers were told people had fired multiple shots into the house before they fled the scene in a vehicle, a NSW Police statement said.

A 46-year-old male resident was seriously injured in the incident.
Paramedics attended to his gunshot injury before he was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene has since been set up as detectives investigate the shooting.
Police are urging anyone who has with information about the incident or relevant footage to come forward by calling Riverstone Police or Crime Stoppers via 1800 333 000.
